Uganda are set to be without goalkeeper Ismail Watenga for their 2018 Total Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) opener against Zambia in Marrakech this Sunday.

According to Xinhua News, the shot-stopper will sit out of the clash following correspondence from CAF that Watenga is suspended for the match.

The Vipers goal-minder picked up two yellow cards in the Cranes two qualifying games against Rwanda last year resulting in the one match ban.

This opens the door for Benjamin Ochan who is now expected to start in goal for Sebastien Desabre’s troops.
